Our high school Robotics team competed at the Capitol BEST Robotics contest at Liberty Hill High School on October 20th. Teams were given 6 weeks to design and create a robot for a specific task out of given materials. Each team competed in six 3-minute matches against 3 other teams to guide their robot along a suspended rail and collect trash and other items for points.
Our drivers were:
Da'Mon Allen
Ethan Fisher
Ian Pierce
Kaleb Rector
Isaiah Segura
With one of the smallest teams there, Moody Robotics scored 540 points throughout the day to place 8th out of 26 teams, just 35 points short of qualifying for the semifinals! Go Bearcats!
