Unicef Kid Power

Unicef Kid Power
Moody ISD received a grant from Unicef to enpower our students to feed the world. The district received forty fitness bands for the students to wear with their activities, that in turn will donate food to children in different countries. The third graders have accepted the challenge and are off to a tremendous start. Every step each student takes is recorded and sent to Unicef. The more steps that are recorded, the more food Unicef will donate to children in need. Our students have the opportunity to think of others while increasing their physical activity. The program started on March 1, 2017 and will last until the end of this school year. We would like to thank all of the third grade teachers for adding this incredible opportunity to their daily curriculum.
